1. Who we are

The Study Suite (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Primary English tuition centre at 271 Bukit Timah Road, #03-07 Balmoral Plaza, Singapore 259708. UEN: 202623621Z.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and, if you enrol, to teach your child and run our classes. This may include:

• Parent or guardian details: name, mobile number and email address
• Child details: name, level, school, and learning information such as diagnostic results, work samples and progress records
• Enquiry details: preferred days and times, your message, and how you heard about us
• Payment records: fees paid and payment method (we do not store full card numbers on this website)
• Website data: basic technical information, such as your browser type and pages visited, as described in section 8

3. How we collect it

We collect personal data when you send the enquiry form on this website, email us, message us on WhatsApp, enrol your child, or visit the centre. When you provide your child’s personal data, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and consent on their behalf.

4. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and arrange the complimentary diagnostic
• To assess, plan for and teach your child, and to track and report on their progress
• To manage enrolment, class schedules, fees, deposits and refunds
• To contact you about your child’s lessons and centre matters
• To send occasional updates about The Study Suite, only if you have separately agreed to receive them
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

5. Consent and withdrawal

We collect, use and disclose personal data with your consent, or where the PDPA otherwise permits. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing admin@thestudysuite.com.sg. We will explain the likely consequences (for example, we may be unable to continue providing lessons) and act on your request within a reasonable time.

We will not send marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers registered with the Do Not Call Registry unless you have given us clear and unambiguous consent.

6. Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email provider and payment processors, under obligations to protect it, or where the law requires. Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore; where that happens, we take steps to ensure a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

7. Protection and retention

We take reasonable security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or for legal or business reasons, and then securely delete or anonymise it.

8. Cookies and third-party content

This website uses only the cookies it needs to function. Our location page shows an embedded Google Map, which is provided by Google and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. When you send the enquiry form, your details are emailed to us and a copy is stored in our website’s secure administration area, so that no enquiry is lost; only our team can see it, and we delete these copies when they are no longer needed. If you message us on WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

9. Access and correction

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you or your child, how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, or ask us to correct it. Please email admin@thestudysuite.com.sg. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible and may charge a reasonable fee for access requests, which we will tell you about in advance.
